Clinton says she will give broadband the attention it deserves
At the CWA Conference, Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) says she wants to connect all of America to the Global Economy through a national broadband policy. We often say, she says, that new technology is bringing the world together but that’s only true if you’re wired into it. In 2000, we were fourth in the world with broadband access, and today we are 24th. America can rise to meet any challenge we take on, and she says she has proposed a national broadband strategy called “Connect America” to finally give broadband access the urgent attention it deserves. This strategy is based on the principles laid out in the Your Speed Matters campaign. (:57)
