For sure Iranian people appreciate establishment of democracy in their country, but Mujahedin Khalq is not to establish it as it claims. Mujahedin may well dupe the West by its pseudo pro-democratic statements but not Iranians who have long received the terrorist strikes of the group as well as its close accomplice with the nation’s enemies like Saddam. That is clear that no nation advocates traitors claims for democracy after they have betrayed their own people. Besides, Mujahedin is of no political weight to accomplish the West’s ambitions.

I have to second Irani's comment. What's interesting is that the suckers who bought the hyper-politicized NIE assessment (Iran ended its nuke weapons program in '03) were members of the U.S. media. The EU didn't buy, MI6 didn't buy, and the Israelis don't buy it.

Once the mullahs have the bomb, diplomatic attempts to appease them (rather than control their appetite for regional hegemony) will skyrocket. Thus, displacing their radical regime with something more representative of Iranians will become that much harder.

But what will become easier in those circumstances will be a war with Israel.
