News Director Lovisa Frost will be attending the Press Conference with the President this morning. Chief Pentagon Correspondent Meredith MacKenzie will be covering House Armed Services Committee on fiscal year 2009 National Defense Authorization Budget Request, followed by a House Appropriations Committee hearing on National Guard and Reserve Issues. Chief UN Correspondent Dan Patterson will be at the UN, where he will be briefed on the Kosovo situation, hear a report on Darfur, and ask questions about Israel.

We will also be covering the Senate Finance Committee hearing on the real estate market, the Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on the beef recall, the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee hearing with Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on “U.S. Policy Options in Post-Election Pakistan,” and the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on visa waiver program weaknesses.
