Chairman Ike Skelton says that he is deeply concerned about the risk facing the nation
At the Posture Hearing on the Department of Defense’s Fiscal Year 2009 Budget, Department of Defense House Armed Services Committee Chairman Ike Skelton (D-MO) says that he and the committee is deeply concerned about the risk “facing the nation.” He compares the risk to the Sword of Damocles, saying that it reminds him that catastrophe is just a hair’s breadth away. He says that we must act now to avoid failure with grave consequences. (:35)
