Speaker Pelosi Stresses Importance of Environmental Legislation
In a “pre-buttal” to President Bush’s State of the Union Address Monday, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated the Democrats’ intentions to proceed with environmental proposals including cap-and-trade legislation, and praised progress already made in increasing automobile mileage standards.
