Chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, George Miller (D-CA) discusses changes aimed at making higher education less of a financial burden
Chairman Miller says this country has long promoted the belief that the college door should never be closed to anyone because of money. Identifying new measures to assist students, he cited 250,000 fully-qualified young people who couldn’t afford to go to college last year.
