Columnist Tom Oliphant of the Boston Globe asks Speaker Nancy Pelosi about any advance insight she may have on what is happening on the ground in Iraq. Speaker Pelosi responds by saying that the situation in Iraq is ugly and getting uglier, and that she does not see much hope for a political solution since the Iraqi government is currently recessed.
