Congresswoman Linda T. Sanchez (D-CA), Chairwoman of the House Commercial and Administrative Law Subcommittee, explains during former Deputy Attorney General James Comey’s testimony that the idea that U.S. attorneys lost their jobs due to political affiliation poses serious threat to notions of fairness on which our justice system rests.
Rep. Sanchez points out that the U.S. needs to know that those who are charged with crimes are charged based on evidence and not political consideration. (0:35)
