White House Gaggle
March 27, 2007
By: Ellen Ratner
Briefer: Dana Perino
The Gaggle was only focused on Tony Snow:
Tony Snow had a PET scan and blood work before his surgery and his growth was thought to be benign. He had surgery yesterday and the growth was cancer. It has spread to his liver. He spoke to Dana this morning and President Bush. The President has him in his prayers. He had been getting regular CAT scans; he will be discussing aggressive treatment options with his physicians. His message to Press Corps is "don’t bug me" but he was thankful for all the letters and cards. He is walking around, helped Dana with her talking points on his illness and also on other issues. Dana said she and the others had received strength from his optimism. There were no other issues at the gaggle this morning.
