Welch says that people who claim the global warming issue is a political argument and not a scientific fact is underestimating the American people He says that we know that global warming is real and that we need science to address the issue directly. He says that the Bush administrations attack on sound science is a losers game and the job of this congress is to give confidence to our scientists. (1:00)
