Lawrence Mishel, President of the Economic Policy Institute, states during the Work That Works: An Agenda for Shared Prosperity Forum that the way government has been providing the people with accounts is not a way forward.
According to Mishel, American people have rejected the idea of looking to government in terms of "Just give me my saving account, insurance account and I will be ok." (0:16)
