Department of Defense Inspector General Tom Gimble states, during his testimony on review of Pre-Iraqi War Activities of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, that while the actions of the Under Secretary Feith were not illegal or unauthorized, they were inappropriate.
Inspector General Gimble believes the Under Secretary’s actions to be inappropriate because they did not clearly show the variance with the consensus of the Intelligence Community but were presented as intelligence products. (0:32)
