Murray D. Smith, the official representative of the Province of Alberta, Canada in the US clarifies the misconception that the US imports most of its crude oil from the Middle East.

Smith says that not only are Mexico and Canada the leading exporters of crude oil with Canada in the lead, for years Alberta has been the leading exporter of Canadian crude oil to the US, and have done so seamlessly. (0:49)
