Rabbi Joui Hessel, at a "Clergy for Fairness" press conference against the Federal Marriage Amendment, says that the gay marriage ban will legally limit civil liberties.
Hessel says that as an American she is appalled that fear and ignorance is driving a Federal Marriage Amendment that will legally limit citizens’ civil liberties. Also, she says it is insulting that our nation’s leaders feel it is their place to limit her rights as an ordained rabbi (:34).
