Victoria Jones asks White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan if the plan to give Americans $100 checks to help with the oil hardship might also intend to buy them off.

Posted by Staff on May 1, 2006 |

McClellan says that the President is concerned with the oil crisis and its affects on American families. He says the raising prices are like a tax on families, and that is why the President has outlined short-term solutions.
