Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) says during a news conference at the outdoors Eastern Market, that Vice President Dick Cheney has secret meetings with oil companies.
Boxer says that the President is in the position to take a hard stance against the oil companies and their increasing profits, but will not likely do so because of his strong ties with oil companies. In fact, Boxer says that the secret meeting Cheney had with oil company representatives directly caused some of the increasing energy prices (:38).
