At a news conference addressing America’s dependence on fossil fuels, Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) urges America to start leading in energy technology.
Cantwell says the "United States is not going to drill its way to independence" and that the country must be "leaders in energy technology and not laggards" (0:25).
