At a National Press Club event, Senator Russell Feingold (D-WI) says the Democrats had the majority when the Iraq War and Patriot Act passed.

Feingold says that Democrats are currently focusing on regaining the majority, but he notes that they had the majority when both the Iraq War and Patriot Act passed. He says that the party should not become so afraid to lose the majority that they stop doing what is right (:40).
