At a Senate Judiciary Committee meeting on "Immigration Economic Impacts", Dan Siciliano, Executive Director, Program in Law, Economics and Business Stanford Law School, says that the United States economic productivity relies on immigrants.

Siciliano says that by 20012, the number of available jobs will increase by 14.6% while the current immigration and population growth rate is 11.7%. Therefore, Siciliano maintains that if we want to continue strong economic growth, it could be harmful to greatly restrict the number of immigrant workers in the job market (1:13).
