At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing regarding copyright legislation in regards to the digital music, Edgar Bronfman, Chairman and CEO of Warner Music Group, says companies like XM Satellite Radio need to pay fair market rates for the music they present to their clientele.
Bronfman says that just as XM Satellite pays market rates for things like electricity and the content of the Oprah Winfrey Show and Major League Baseball, they should be required to pay market rates for the royalties of the music that their company is founded on. (0:20)
