At a press conference introducing emergency supplemental appropriations legislation, Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) says there is a significant danger if political leaders of Iraq don’t step up to their responsibilities.
Reed says that the political leaders of Iraq will become irrelevant to the people of Iraq if they don’t accept their responsibilities, and that the success of our military presence relies on the Iraqis arriving at a political solution. (0:37)
