At a press conference introducing emergency supplemental appropriations legislation, Senator Carl Levin (D-MI) says that there are two deadlines imposed on the construction of the new Iraq government.

Levin says Prime Minister designate Jawad al-Malaki must appoint a government within thirty days, and a commission appointed by the Iraqi Assembly must propose and report amendments to the Iraq Constitution within four months. (0:39)
