President Bush says at a visit to Intel New Mexico that the role of the government is to open up markets and say to competitors and other markets that we should be treated the same as we treat them.

Bush says it is very important that the United States remains competitive by not losing our nerve, opening up markets for our products, and leveling the playing field because no one can out-compete the US when the rules are fair. (0:28)
