McAdams says that believing activists claims is like believing the National Rifle Associations claims that carrying a gun prevents serious bodily harm, or like believing the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League’s claims that overturning Roe v. Wade would promote back-alley abortions. (0:19)
