Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, responds to a question about Judge Alito’s position on abortion.
Senator Specter, who is pro-choice, says that he will not ask about Alito’s personal position, rather he will pay attention to Alito’s consideration of judicial precedents. Specter also responds to a comment about the reaction to Alito’s nomination.(1:03)
