Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld accuses the media fixating on his testimony that there are now only one Iraqi battalion capable of independent operations, down from three as stated previously, as "chasing the wrong rabbit."
Rumsfeld states that many factors contributed the downgrade of the number of ready Iraqi battalions, including the increase in standards for readiness, but it is no reflection on the actual capability of these forces. (1:17)
