President Discusses Hurricane Katrina Emergency Disaster Relief

President Bush explains how evacuee status will make it easier to register and collect federal benefits in any state in the country. He continues to talk about the difficult days that are ahead of us, especially when it comes to recovering the dead. President Bush says that they will all be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. He also declares a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance on September 16. (1:49)
