Victoria Jones asks Dr. Neal Barnard if genetic research on dogs will lead to advances in human medical research.

Dr. Barnard answers that animals are not always good models for humans, therefore making animal research unreliable. He uses Vioxx as an example, saying the pain killer appeared safe in animal tests but caused heart disease and stroke in humans. (1:13)
