Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-CT) warns of the consequences of closing New London Naval Submarine Base.

Lieberman states that if the base is closed the American military would not be representative of the entire United States, and will have difficulty recruiting in the New England area. He also asserts that 19,000 jobs in the area would be lost in New England with the majority of lost from Connecticut. (1:12)
