Representative John Spratt (D-SC) highlights for the House Budget Committee the shortcomings of the administration in two areas: Social Security and renewal of tax cuts.
Spratt addresses two concerns he sees with the Administration’s spending policy. With regards to a social security privatization plan, $4 trillion will be added to the deficit over a 20 year period of time. In regard to the renewal of all the tax cuts, the Administration’s reconstructive budget "calls into question those assumptions."
