President George W. Bush outlines the motives for remaining in Iraq during a speech in Crawford, Texas.

Bush believes that if America pulls out of Iraq now it would "send a terrible signal to the enemy". He also claims that by leaving Iraq prematurely, before the new Iraqi government has firmly established itself would send the wrong message about the US’s commitments to the region. (1:04)
