Hans Reimer, Washington director of Rock the Vote, explains how important the issue of Social Security is to young people at the commemoration of Social Security’s 70th Anniversary.

Reimer says that young people are standing in solidarity with older people because they are aware of the negative effects the privatization of Social Security could have on their futures. He reveals that young people, after being educated on the Social Security program, are reluctant to support private accounts. (1:04)
