Evon Peter, member of the Gwich’in Nation, talks about the importance of saving the Arctic refuge rather than exploiting it for energy needs.

Peter says that the United States must take into account environmental issues and must look to new resources for energy rather than destroy parts of the Arctic Refuge. He says this is both a human rights issue as well as an environmental issue. (:59)
