During the 9/11 Public Discourse Project’s panel discussion on "Foreign Policy: Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia," Ambassador Dennis Ross argues that the younger generation in Saudi Arabia, which takes up seventy five percent of the population, feels alienated and apathetic
Ross says that those that feel alienated are likely to produce political problems in Saudi Arabia. He adds that Saudi Arabia needs to cope with its alienated citizens and demonstrate that change is possible if it wants to ensure that its kingdom remains stable. (1:00)
