Murphy, senior director of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., explains the second of four recommendations his public education taskforce suggests the education system needs to enact in order to revitalize public education
Murphy argues that public schools need to set high expectations by establishing voluntary, national curriculum standards in core subjects. In addition he argues that schools need to expand national accountability measures as well as initiate a national dialogue on adequate and equitable funding. (1:34)
