At a news conference to release the results of a major report titled, "Getting Smarter, Becoming Fairer: A Progressive Education Agenda for a Stronger Nation," Governor Janet Napolitano (D-AZ) says that there is a fierce competition in the job market between U.S. college graduates and International college graduates
Napolitano reports that China will produce 3.3 million college graduates this year and India will produce 3 million college graduates, all of whom will be able to speak English. She adds that the United States will only produce 1.3 million college graduates this year and that many of these students will lack the technical skills to compete for quality jobs with their international counterparts.
