The FAA is not sure if raising the commercial pilot age limit will affect safety, FAA Air Surgeon Dr. Jon L. Jordan says.

At a Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee hearing, Federal Air Surgeon Jon L. Jordan, MD, states there is not enough evidence to suggest either increased or decreased safety if commercial airline pilots are allowed to fly after 60 years of age. The FAA must be certain that any changes in safety regulations will maintain or increase safety levels before altering current guidelines. (:30)
