Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) states that the majority of the American people want stem cell research to continue during a Senate Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies hearing on "An Alternative Method for Obtaining Embryonic Stem Cells.
Harkin says that those with moral dilemmas regarding stem cell research
"shouldn’t impose their views on the vast majority of people who want to
pursue" the progression of stem cell research. (:46)
