Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee, says the Federal Transit Administration has still not provided a "transit security plan" as mandated by Congress.
Thompson, questioning a panel of metropolitan police chiefs from Washington, New York, and Los Angeles, stated a security plan for mass transit systems was due to Congress in April. While no such plan has been provided, the transit chiefs later said that they have devised their own plans to improve security. (:34)
