Chairman Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) of the Senate Select Intelligence Committee says Guantanamo Bay detainee interrogations are indispensable, and consistent with U.S. laws and values.
At the 9/11 Public Discourse Project in Washington, D.C., Sen. Roberts states that after an inspection of the Cuban facility, operations there are vital to intelligence gathering needed to prevent future terrorist attack. He also stresses the need for this process to be aligned with the values and laws of society. (:30)
