At the House International Relations Committee hearing on "Terrorist Threats to Energy Security," Gal Luft, the co-director for the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, asserts that terrorists believe that they can bring down a superpower by damaging its economy
Luft adds that terrorists no longer need to enter into the U.S. to cause significant amounts of damage since they are able to attack oil refineries from afar, thus harming our economy. (:35)
