Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) urges U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings and President Bush to protect the existing Title XI policies to provide young girl in America with equal opportunities in school programs.

Murray stresses her concerns over the new "clarifications" that the Dept. of Education has announced. The new "clarifications" will allow schools to avoid creating more opportunities to girls in its sports program. She continues by stating that the only thing the new policy clarifies is the Administration’s stealth tactics. (1:02)
