Pollack says that the large and increasing number of uninsured Americans is no longer simply an altruistic concern for those without health coverage, but it is a concern for all Americans. He states the importance of strengthening and protecting the public programs, such as Medicaid, that are the safety net from millions of Americans. (:49)
