Rabbi Paul Meintoff says the Bush administration must step in to stop the killing in Israel and Palestine during Sunday’s Speaking for Peace conference.

Posted by Staff on June 28, 2005 |

Meintoff poses the emotional question, "On the backs of how many Israelis and Palestinians will we achieve peace?" He calls the solution "not really rocket science" because many people have already come together for peace. The United States must do more in terms of bringing the parties to the negotiating table, and the president himself must get involved in a serious, in-depth way. Meintoff says Bush must set a schedule to resolve the conflict, but doesn’t say if he thinks that is likely. (1:29)
