Rabbi Paul Meintoff, executive director of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, says fighting over the past won’t help either side in the Israel-Palestine conflict at Sunday’s Speaking for Peace conference at the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center.
Neither the Palestinian nor Israeli backstory will ever be agreed upon as the correct interpretation of history, so fighting over past events doesn’t do either side any good, Meintoff says. (:34)
