President Bush spoke after meeting with African presidents on forgiving the debt of select African countries.

President Bush speaks on an initiative of the G8 to forgive the debt of eighteen of the poorest countries in the world, including fourteen African countries. President Bush says this agreement by the G8 will cancel forty billion dollars in debt owed by those African countries. The President says the group believes removing the debt will enable economies in Africa to flourish. (:27)
