Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) introduces the Uniting American Families Act.
Congressman Nadler says the importance of equal treatment for lesbians, gays, bi-sexuals and the transgendered under the law. He also says the UAFA will help ensure that the US immigration and naturalization code conforms to fundamental constitutional principals by treating same-sex partnerships as the same as a common civil marriages for visa and immigration purpose.
