At the Senate Armed Services Committee Hearing, General Michael Hagee speaks about retention and recruitment rates within the Marine Corps.

Hagee claims that US Marine Corps are retaining more Marines who are married and/or have families and also believes that these soldiers feel confident with their decision. He states that Army recruiters are now spending, on average, twelve hours with a potential recruit as opposed to only four hours prior to 9/11. (1:08)
