Dr. William F. Schulz, Executive Director of Amnesty International USA, criticizes the refusal of the U.S Government to conduct an independent investigation into the abuses at Abu Ghraib prison and other detention centers.
Schulz says that the US Government continues to shirk its responsibility to human rights. Amnesty International calls on foreign governments to uphold their obligations under international law by investigating all senior US officials involved in the torture scandal.(1:35)
