Cardinal Theodore McCarrick states immigration laws separate families and loved ones, giving them no hope for reunification. Migrant workers and their families also suffer from low wages and intolerable working conditions. The campaign is attempting to try to change those laws so immigrants can support their families, be united and have their human rights respected.(:42)
